Manny Pacquiao Vinyl Toy Figure by MINDstyle

My friend Drew sent me this photo of a Manny Pacquiao Vinyl Toy Figure. I was like, "Awesome! Let's go get one on our lunch." Sadly, it's not available for sale yet. Oh well, I'll just have to wait. I told Drew if you took off the boxing gloves and put a jacket on it, it could pass as an action →

2009 SDCC San Diego Comic Con Kidrobot Deph FatCap Exclusive

So this past Friday we waited with my friend Drew for the Deph FatCap Vinyl Toy Comic Con exclusive at the Kidrobot booth. I personally broke my own comic con record for waiting in line previously held by Hasbro. Last year We waited in a three hour line for Hasbro exclusives. Well, Kidrobot smashed that record as we waited close →

2009 SDCC Comic Con Exclusive: Transformers Soundwave

When I first found out that Hasbro was going to release Soundwave as an exclusive I was like, "oh hellz yes!". Soundwave was one of the coolest original transformers. He transformed from a robot to a cassette radio and back. I loved how the "tapes" turned into cool creatures like a vulture and a panther. One thing I never understood →

Mighty Muggs 2009 SDCC Comic Con Wolverine Logan Exclusive

Last year Hasbro sold the metallic Iron Man Mighty Mugg and it was a huge hit among Mighty Muggs and Iron Man fans. I bought a large number of them and I sold all of them pretty easily on the secondary market (almost made the 3-hour line to buy worth it). Anyway, this year one of the Mighty Mugg exlcusives will →

2009 SDCC Comic Con Exclusive Disney Pixar Cars Rescue Squad Mater Fire Truck

So I'm all geeked up that the Comic Con is only about a week away. Transformers! Photos from the 2009 BotCon

I finally downloaded the photos from our trip to Pasadena for the 2009 BotCon. It's been several weeks and the images have been sitting on my SD card. This was our first BotCon and being regulars of the San Diego Comic Con we couldn't help but feel the BotCon was rather small. We still had a good time being at a →

Hasbro reveals new Star Wars Millennium Falcon at 2008 Comic Con

This isn't your father's Millennium Falcon! If you collected Star Wars toys as a kid or adult you are probably familiar with the original Millennium Falcon from Hasbro. The mold that was used 30 years ago when I was a kid has not changed until now. At this year's comic con, attendees were able to see the revealing of Hasbro's →

2008 SDCC San Diego Comic Con Review

My family needed a full day to recover from 4 straight days of the San Diego Comic Con. It was a good trip despite my work needing me to do some shet even though I was on vacation. Anyway, the con was pretty good. I felt the lines were longer, more unorganized, and moved a lot slower than last year →

2008 SDCC – G.I.Joe Combat Heroes Snake Eyes and Timber

One more week until the San Diego Comic Con! I was one of those boys that collected G.I.Joes when I was a kid even though my favorite grade school teacher once called them "dolls". They are action figures! Of all the G.I.Joes my favorite was Snake Eyes. I think everyone's favorite was Snake Eyes. He was all dressed in black and →

2008 SDCC San Diego Comic Con

I've been taking my family to the San Diego Comic Con every year for the past several years. This year's comic con is only a few weeks away and we are looking forward to it. In previous years it was very easy to go to the con. When we lived in downtown San Diego we would just walk to the convention →

San Diego Comic Con Hot Wheels 1966 Batmobile George Barris

I wanted to follow up my first review with a photo of one of my son's most prized Batmobiles. This is one Batmobile my son doesn't get to play with. Not yet anyway. It's a 1/64th scale version of the 1966 Batmobile made popular by the television series of the same year. The diecast was made by Hot Wheels and sold →

Toy Review: DC Super Friends My First Batmobile

My first toy review will be the DC Super Friends My First Batmobile. Although this isn't my son Logan's first batmobile, it is the first batmobile out of it's original factory-sealed packaging that he can actually play with. This toy is meant for ages 3 and up but my soon to be two year old loves playing with it. Out of →
